Honda Brio and Amaze has been a good hit in Indian car market. So it is time for the third car from the Brio family market Honda Mobilo to launch in India. We expect that Honda will launch the car in India roughly around May.

Honda to discontinue the current Jazz

This is absolutely a shocker from Honda. Honda is stopping the production of Jazz. You won't get a new Jazz from Honda showroom even if you need it badly. Honda will only launch the next generation Jazz in India.

2014 Honda Jazz

Honda Jazz although a good car was a failure or Honda. The car had a good peppy engine, strong build quality and shear fun to drive experience. But Jazz lost out on the practical bits. Jazz was priced very steeply above the class actually. Jazz has not got enough space or a blush cabin too. The most important reason for Jazz s fall-back was the lack of diesel engine. You surely need a diesel engine to survive in the premium hatchback market. Jazz was the only premium hatch without a diesel option. So pulling plug on a car selling about 500 units a month is better than producing it.

Honda will fulfill the existing bookings but they won't take any new orders from know. The Jazz will of course comeback mightier and stronger in 2014 as the next gen Jazz. The next gen Jazz will get Honda s 1.5l IV-TEC diesel engine which is the cut down version of the 1.6 l diesel selling in Europe. This diesel engine will deliver optimum power and efficiency at the same time.

Honda Brio sedan Amaze will be the first car to host the new diesel engine in April 2013. By 2014 we can expect the Brio diesel next gen Jazz and city sedan in India too with a total of four diesel cars which will strengthen Honda in the Indian market .
Honda has also discontinued the Honda Civic sedan recently. We are not sure whether Honda will launch the 2013 Civic in India. Lets just wait till 2014 to know more details.

Honda Brio MPV Indian launch? Revealing at Indonesia motor show

Honda Brio was launched in Indian market a couple of years ago. It was a good styled hatchback with a god sprity engine. Brio is currently selling decently with 4000 units per month. Honda has also announced the launch of Brio Amaze  sedan in India in future. Amaze will be the first car to host Honda s new 1.5 l diesel engine.

We are inching closer to the launch of Honda s new CRV. But will the new CRV will be of any avail to boost up the sales? The new CRV will be launched on next week. But it has not got a diesel engine. There is a 1.6 l Earth Dream diesel engine variable in the European CRV. But the European diesel engine can't mate up with Indian Diesel and also it is gonna be very pricey roughly around 30 lakhs.

Honda with three new launches on 2014

2014 is going to be a buy year for Honda. Honda is planning to launch three new cars in that year. While two are upgrades on current cars one is an entirely new car.
All these cars are based on the Jazz platform and will come with the new 1.5 earth dream diesel engine.

The first to come is the new Honda Jazz hatchback. We can expect it on our shores in early 2014.The new Jazz will get some massive changes overall. The exteriors will be new and the cabin will carry Man maximum machine maximum principle. The most important change is the introduction of the 1.5 l I-dtec diesel engine on Honda Jazz which is expect to boost up the sales of the currently dying Honda Jazz.

Next Up is the new Honda City Sedan. City was once the king of Indian class sedan market. But the new face lifted Verna and Volkswagen Vento put a huge scar on citys face. Honda will get back the past glory of the city with the new Honda city coming in mid 2014. The new city will be placed on the Jazz platform and will be powered by a petrol and a turbo diesel motor as well. The arrival of Diesel will surely wound the scars for sure.

Last Up is the all new Jazz based compact SUV. The compact SUV will be designed in the Honda Urban SUV  concept showcased at Detroit motor Show.The SUV will get a petrol and the turbo diesel engine as well. The new SUV will compete with Ford Eco Sport and Renault Duster.

We were really impatiently waiting for the Honda Amaze. We don't know what is keeping Honda too long to launch the Amaze. To cure our curiosity We decided to got to Thailand to test drive the new Amaze. A silver Amaze was arranged in there for us to test drive.

Honda had pulled plug on the old Civic a few months back.The new Civic will be launched on late 2013.Honda is currently testing the new civic for the Indian market.The civic was only avaliable in petrol model and it had failed to create an imapct in India.

2011 civic was not everyones favorite in design and due to the criticism Honda will relaunch the new civic in 2013 in US.the US market gets a 2.2 l DHC diesel engine which churns out 130 HP of power.The last 2011 civic faced a lot of trouble in ride and design.The European civic hatch gets a 1.6 l diesel similar to the 1.5 l which Honda is currently devolving for India

The Asian model will not be redesigned.We expect to get a 1.8 l petrol model for India which produces 140 HP of power.If we are lucky we may get a more powerful version the new 1.5 diesel I-DTEC engine which powers the upcoming Amaze.
