Lamborghini has launched the LP 700-4 Roadster on Mumbai yesterday(25th January 2013). The success of the coupe has inspired Lambo to launch the Roadster as well. The Aventador Coupe sold 1300 units already.We all no that the roadster is a soft-top.
You will get a light roof on top of the roadster. The carbon fiber roof just weights 6 kg. But it is stronger than the titanium rod.The roof can be manually detached and stored in the front compartment.The engine roof also has been tweaked for more control on the car.
The hard top had a more weighty roof and it was difficult to remove. The top speed of the hard top was just 160 km/h with the roof on.
Avantador Roadster will have the same 6.2 l V12 which produces 700 HP of power and 539 NM of torque.The car will have a top speed of 350 km/h without the roof and it reaches 100km from a stop in three seconds.Awesome isn,t it.
A wind deflector and powered rear windshield is added to the roadster to aid better aerodynamics. It can be detached if you think you have lost your style. The latter control controls he engine noise and airflow to provide a more calmer and quieter ride.
The car get gloss black paint at the roof and pillars while the rest of the car get one of the body colors. new colors added are 'Metallic Blue' and 'Azzuro Thetis' which has variable color tone with the light's angle.
All in all the Lambo Aventador Roadster is incredible to say. You must be impatient to buy one and step on the gas and go. What makes Lambo more agile and rigid than other sports car? Your comments please on he comment box.
But the price is not that incredible. 4.77 crore is the ex showroom price. 20 lakhs more than that of the coupe. So it is only affordable to Mukesh Ambani.
We also got the news that Lamborghini is planning an Indian version of the Gallardo . They will produce only six Indiano Gallardos. They will be right hand driven and will get Indian flag paint jobs as well.
2013 is going to be the end of Gallardo introduced in 2003. Lambo will launch their next car which replaces the Gallerdo soon. May be Lambo will showcase their new car at Frankfurt Motor Show.
