We have seen the new 2013 Swift Special Edition in the TV commercials.The special edition gets some sporty paint jobs, sporty alloy wheels and some new colors.the interiors are also tweaked in design and gets some more features.
Special racing decals, leather seats which are cushioned specially, and new goldsmith lack body color.These are some premium features for sure. Maruthi has hiked the price of this limited edition by Rs 10000 greater than the regular swift.The limited system also comes with an alpine audio system with integrated USB which is premium.
The engine and performance remains the same on the Sporty edition of Swift as well.The same 1.3 l multi jet diesel engine which produces 75 HP @ 4000 Rpm and190 Nm of torque @2000 Rpm and the 1.2 l enthusiastic petrol engine which produces 87 HP @6000 Rpm and 117 nm of torque @ 4000 Rpm are available.These engines combine both strong performance and great fuel efficiency on a substantial manner and that is the success behind swift.The price of special edition ranges from 4.6 lakhs to 7.5lakhs.
Maruthi said that they launched his Special Edition Of Swift to Celebrate 1 million sales of swift.yes swift has crossed its one millionth sale now in India.The only other cars who have managed to do so are Maruthi Alto, Maruthi Wagonr and Hyundai Santro.
