Ford Ecosport Specs and features India

 

Ford Ecosport is nearing its launch. The expected launch date of Ford Ecosport is April 1st or after. Rumors are spreading like Virus that says Ecosport will be launched on March 4th. But it is not true, it is the Ford Celebration edition which will be launched in March 4th, not Ecosport.

 Ford will launch two engine options of Ecosport in India. The 1 l Eco boost engine which has the power of a 1.6 l engine and has 20% more mileage will be there for the Indian Market. The max power of the car is 120 HP and with 1300 kg of weight Ecosport will surely be a high performer. Ecosport will also have a diesel engine carried over from the new Fiesta.

The petrol option will have two transmission options. The 5 speed manual or the 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission from the new Fiesta. The 6-speed automatic is ultra responsive you won't have to bother about additional spare jobs for the gearbox as it has 9 years warranty. The diesel variant will get a 5 speed manual Transmission.

Ford Ecosport totally has some outstanding safety features high ensures safety of you and your family. The SUV has got regular features like ABS and EBD plus some out of segment features like ESP (Electronic stability Control which detects over steer and under-steer) and Traction Control too. Also you will be cushioned by six airbags if the car accidentally hits somewhere(although there is no chance for an accident in the hands of an experienced driver).

All these features will mean some hefty pricing. Ford will price the base petrol model under 6 lakhs for a competitive pricing. The top end diesel could be priced 10 lakhs.
