Renault Duster 4*4 spotted testing launch soon

RENAULT dUSTER ALL WHEEL DRIVE SPIED

We found an all wheel drive variant of the Renault Duster test-driving in Trivandrum, Kerala. The one we spotted has temporary licence plate from Trivandrum. The 4*4 Duster is not just an all wheel drive Duster, the car is absolutely same as the international 4*4 Duster.

The 4*4 duster is being currently produced in Chennai plant and  and is exported to UK and other RHD markets. So 4*4 Duster will be in India in no time, probably Renault will be launching the 4*4 Duster after the launch of Ford Ecosport. The launch date will be roughly at the end of April, while Ecosport will be launched on the first week of April.

The 4*4 Duster will be more pricier the regular Duster. The 4*4 Duster we spotted test driving was the Rxz diesel version which is the top end version. So it is more likely for Renault to introduce all wheel drive on the top end version only. The car will be at least  2 lakhs costlier than the regular duster at 14 lakhs price point. On the other hand the 4*4 Mahindra XUV 5OO Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari Storm are much cheaper then the Duster. So  an Indian customer will find the 4*4 duster too pricy and will go towards other options.

Anyway the all wheel drive Renault Duster will be here soon. The 4*4 Duster will further increase the off-roding ability of the current Duster and Duster fans will love it.
