Kerala School Kalolsavam hot spot of marvels

53rd Kalolsavam of Kerala started in  14 th January and will end on 19th January.The  festival will be held at 17 various stages in Malapuram. Kerala chief minister Sir Umman Chandy inaugurated the festival.He said  that the government will increase the grace mark for students in the coming years.The price for first second and third places has been increased by a few amount.

Sir Umman Chandy the respected Chief minister of Kerala insisted that Kalolsavam is a festival of co-operation and new friendships not a competition.

The grace marks are rewarded followingly

A grade                  -30 marks

B grade                  -24marks

C grade                  -18marks

So there is a tendency in the students and parents that Kalolsavam is just a way to gain some grace marks.This is a serious threat to the sincerity of School Kalolsavam.

The price for first 3 places has been increaed a bit.but in this time the price seems worthless and cheap.the cash prices are as follows.

First place             -Rs 2000

Second place        -Rs 1200

Third place           -Rs 800

The valuation Criteria is as follows

70% marks and above  -5 points
55% marks                      -4 points
40% marks                      -3 points
30%marks                       -2 points
15% and above               -1 points
