Tata motors is always in the spy news nowadays. Now we got spy shots of a Tata van test driving in Pune as well as seen it parked in Pune. The car look identical to the current Renault Traffic. Tata has named the car new Winger. The car looks more like a Nissan Evalia. But as it is Tata it is going to be cheap.
Of course the van is way different from the current gen Tata winger. But it will share some cues with it.
We are not sure about the launch date of this car. We can expect it on India at late 2013 on early 2014.We expect the Winger to be powered by the 2.2 l DICOR motor which is powering Tata Safari. But we are not sure of that yet. The Winger will be in the Urban Utility Van segment. It is going to have 4-5 rows of seats so it can carry people or luggage through the city.
The new winger doesn't look like a square box van .it is more fluidic with strong lines flowing through the body.It has round headlamps a Tata grille and fog lamps which make it look like a car. But on the side it i more like a half car half van.The rear part of the van look like it is oddly pasted to the front from somewhere else.But Tata named it as a van not an MPV.
The design will be practical for it can occupy 9 to 11 adults comfortably.
The interiors of the van will also get a major upgrade. The dashboard design and consoles will be more like those on the Tata Cars.

Tata Winger is for those people who want carriers but have to opt for Utility vehicles due to the lack of options.Its a luxurious touring vehicle with seven comfortable seats and luxurious interior.
