BMW confirmed that the new XI will be launched on February 13. Just a few more days.
BMW has informed in the face book fan page that the count down has begun. The new X1 was shown in last year New York Auto Expo. We were eagerly awaiting the new X1 since then. X1 is BMW s best selling car in India. But last year X1 was hit hard by the Audi Q3 which gobbled up some part of X1 s market share.
BMW will counter attack the Q3 with their new X1. The new X1 will get some minor updates to the exteriors and interiors as well. The exterior changes include.
So not much changes to the exterior. We expect the new 8 speed auto box instead for the six speed auto currently available. Chances are there for the face lifted X1 to get a new petrol power train as well. It may get the petrol new engine from the new 3 series due on launch in India. The diesel engine will also be mildly updated too.
But the four wheel drive system is not available on this face lift too. That is disappointing from BMW. Anyway lets wait for Feb 13 toknow more about the face lifted X1.

- Redesigned front Bumpers
- Re profiled headlights
- New rear view mirrors
- Redesigned tail lamps
