Its time for Hybrid kit on small cars

Fuel prices are being hiked in our country with out any control. Need for Hybrid cars are rising in our minds. It would be coll if you can convert your car into a hybrid. Now it is near possible.

Soon you can place hybrid kits on your cars that will surely reduce fuel expenses. Indian government is creating a norm that allows hybrid kit manufacturers to  make hybrid kits for regular passenger cars.

Ventures like KPIT Cummins and Bharat Forge are currently developing Hybrid kits for regular cars. With the hybrid kit placed fuel efficiency will increase by 15% to 25%. But you have to spend an extra Rs 50000 for the Hybrid kit. The hybrid kit currently developed by  KPIT Cummins is known as Revolo.

The Hybrid kit consists of an electric motor, battery pack, software controller and battery management system. The hybrid system will work together with the engine without any hesitation. You will get more power and efficiency as well after fitting the hybrid kit.

The battery can be easily charged by connecting to a 3 pin plug from home. The hybrid system also uses a stop start feature plus regenerative barking force which can further increase the mileage by 40 % in some cars.

The hybrid kit can be implanted into the boot of the car easily without any fuss. It just take a few hours to plant the kit to the car. There is no need to rework the car body or make any mechanical changes.

So after this project is succeeded hybrid powered Tata nano will give mileage of 50 km/l, which is simply awesome. More information of this project will be delivered on Union Budget 2013.
