Maruthi Suzuki XA-Alpha SUV launch in 2015

Now Indian car market is facing an SUV
revolution. Each and every car maker is working hard making their own proper SUVs. Inspired by the success of Renault Duster and the fame of the upcoming Ford Ecosport Maruthi Suzuki has speed-ed up their plans for XA-Alpha.





The XA-Alpha concept was showcased at 2012 Delhi auto expo. The XA-Alpha has an unique yet stylish design. The car features new design philosophy from Maruthi. It has a tall and compact stance. The production SUV will get some slight changes than in the XA Alpha showcased on te Delhi motor show.

The XA Alpha will be sub 4 m enabling some excise benefits to price it competitively. We can expect XA Alpha in India in middle 2015. The SUV will be priced bellow 10 lakhs for sure. XA Alpha wll be a strong rival for the upcoming Ford Ecosport .

Maruthi is also planning another Utility vehicle which is a cross over version of the SX 4. The SX 4 cross over is expected to launch in late 2014 and it will be priced around 12 lakhs to fight Renault Duster.

So we can expect an SUV rain in India by 2015. There will be dozens of SUVs under 15 lakhs price by 2015.
