Skoda Octavia RS spied images

Skoda has officially announced the new Octavia for India. The new Skoda Octavia will reach Indian shores in 2014. The new Skoda Octavia will replace the six years old Skoda Laura in its segment. Here Skoda has come up with the new Skoda Octavia RS variant too. Here we have got some exclusive spy shots of the car.

The Skoda Octavia rs is a more powerful sporty sedan version of the regular Octavia. The RS version of the sedan has go some tweaks to distinguish it from the regular sedan. The car gas got a new blackened grille sleek blacky headlamps minute fog lamps and a new set of alloy wheels. The new sporty rear spoiler and twin exhaust pies also adds a sporty touch to the car. The wheels of the test mule spied are sourced from Audi.

We can expect the car to be revealed globally by the end of the year. The car won't be showcased in Geneva motor show held on march 5th. But it will be displayed on the Frankfurt motor show held on September The Octavia RS sedan showed up in public a couple of times ago. But this spy shots gives us some clear details about the car. We have not got exact figures of the power train. But most probably the car is going to get a new 2.0 l TFSI engine which produces a massive 220 HP of power and 350 Nm of torque.

Indian car market has changed a lot in the past few years. Car buyers have gained some certain interest fro high powered sporty cars other than normal budget hatch backs. Number of Car enthusiasts have considerably increased in the last few years. Indian car market is ow no longer a market for cheap cars.

So we can expect the new Skoda Octavia RS to be launched in 2014 with the regular Skoda octavia. Although we are not sure about it.
