Hyundai will face-lift Tucson Chinese
version soon. The Chinese love the cheap affordable Tucson and want
it in their home.
The new Tuscon has been in the world
market already. But it was launched in China. Beijing Hyundai plans
to face-lift the current Tucson only after three months. The Chinese
spec Tucson gets some minor re-works. There is an upgraded chrome
grille in the front in the spy images. The rear of the SUV has a new
tail gate handle. The new Tucson will also have new series of alloy
wheels as well.
Hyundai tried Tucson in India a few
years back. But it was no use and was a flop. Because at that time
Indians did not have an SUV love in their hearts.
There was rumors about Hyundai
launching their next generation Tucson in India. There is huge
potential for Hyundai Tucson in India. The Renault Duster and
Mahindra XUV 500 had a good sales in the car market. Hyundai has not
got so many SUV s in its line up. They have just got a Santa Fe which
is too pricy for most Indians. So there is a good chance that Hyundai
will launch the new Tucson in India. We can expect Tucson to be
priced between 12 to 16 lakhs. It can compete with Renault Duster and
XUV5OO at the lower end and fight with For-tuner and Perjurer at the
top end.
