Ford Endeavor is the second best
selling SUV in the executive SUV market. The main problem with
Endeavor was its old exterior design and platform. Ford gave a light
face-lift to Endeavor at 2009 but it was barely enough to keep the
sales alive. The new Endeavor will be in India only in 2014 which is
a long time to wait. 
So to attract SUV lovers Ford has
launched a new Endeavor with all terrain edition. It is a special 4*4
automatic variant which has some exterior and interior changes too.
The All terrain Edition Endeavor is priced at Rs 19.11 lakhs.
Exterior changes
- New sporty grille
- Hood decals
- Chrome detailing
- Illuminated Scuff plates
- 16 inch alloy wheels
The exterior changes has helped the Endeavor to obtain a far more modern looks. Now the Endeavor looks more aggressive and sporty than the old one.
Interior Changes
- New beige and black colors
- Touch screen display with Satellite navigation
- New power window switches
- Reversing Camera
- Steering mounted Audio controls
- Electric shift on Fly feature
The engine is the same 3.0 l engine
offers on the regular variant as well. Toyota Fortune the class
leader sells about 2000 units per month while Endeavor sells 300
units. This special edition may boost the sales up to 500units per
month. But to heal the Fortuner scars and to rise up Ford needs the
new Endeavor in India.
