Mahindra will launch some new cars in
2013 itself. The first one is going to be the automatic version on
the Scorpio base variant which can not be recognized as a new car.
The Mahindra Verito CS which is the sub 4m version of the Verito will be launched in April 2013. The Verito CS will be priced more aggressively and competitively thanks to the benefits for being under 4 m mark. The Verito CS is a notch back and it will compete with other notch backs like Maruthi Swift Dz-ire, Tata Indica CS and the upcoming Honda Amaze. The car will be powered by the same 1.5 l Renault K9k diesel which is poring the regular Verito.

| Mahindra E20 |
The Mahindra electric car the E20 will
also be launched in 2013. The E20 will be much improved and fast than
the current Reva running on the Indian roads. We can expect E20 in
march 2013. it will be priced between 5 to 6 lakhs. The E20 will be
excellent choice for daily city uses. Full charged E20 can cover 100
km on battery and the car can be easily charged any where with a 15
Ambier Plug.
Mahindra also has some huge surprises
for 2015 with two totally new cars. Mahindra is planning a small
compact car and a compact SUV under its stables. The compact
hatchback will be priced around 3 to 4 lakhs while the compact SUV
will be priced around 5 lakhs. The compact SUV will be manufactured
with the help of South Korean car maker Ssangyong.
Mahindra is also planning a completely
modified next generation Scorpio with collaboration from Ssangyong.
The next gen Scorpio will have some agile and modern looks and will be
given a Ssangyong engine as well.

In the present scenario,sedan segment has enormous options but Mahindra has become a trendsetter now.Its Mahindra Verito got spacious and stylish interior but exterior is adequate.Hyundai Verna,Maruti Swift Dzire and Honda City are serious contender of this segment.
