Audi Q3 2.0 TFSIq launched, A much more enthuisiastic version of the Q3

Audi has launched the Q3 TFSIq in India officially in 13th February 2012. The TFSIq is a little more power packed variant of the Q3. The prices for the new Audi Q3 TFSIq starts from INR 2737000 onwards. This engine makes Audi Q3 the most powerful car in its class defeating BMW X1. Now Audi costumers get to choose between the efficient TDIq and the powerful TFSiq engines. A really good line up from Audi.




Audi Aims to target young Indians who wants speed and thrill desperately with this new TFSIq engine. The Indian youth are very enthusiastic people, but there are only a few cars to fill their needs. So Audi launched the TFSIq engine for Q3 which is especially made for them.

The Audi Q3 TFSIq engine produces an outstanding 211 HP of power and 300 Nm of torque to make drivers seat a thrilling spot in the vehicle. This engine mated with the 7 speed dual clutch S-tronic gearbox and glides you to 100 km mark in just 6.9 seconds. The top speed of the car is 230 km/h. This engine has won the best engine award for five years from the world famous car critics.

The Eco mode and the stop start feature helps this car to retain 11.72 km/l of mileage. Fascinating for a 200 HP petrol car isn't it?

Audi is currently exporting Q3 to India through the CBI route. But later this year Audi will assemble Q3 from India itself. This could result in the Q3 being 3 to 4 lakhs cheaper than the current one.

Audi sold 9007 cars in 2012 which is a fantastic growth rate from the 5633 on 2011. 63% growth rate. So Audi pose keen importance to the Indian market and expect the Indian market to be one of their ten largest car markets by 2020.

2013has offered a promising start for Audi with January selling 737 units. Audi aims to sell 10000 units this year. There are also planning to expand their dealer network too.
