BMW 5 series face-lift leaked images

It has not been long  since BMW launched their face-lifted X1 in India. Next up to get a mild refreshment is BMW 5 series. We have got some leaked images of the face- lifted 5 series in China. In BMW language the 5 series get a Life cycle impulse.


The teased image clearly reveals the changes made to the face-lifted 5 series. The teased car has no camouflage. There we reports of the face-lifted 5 series testing around in China. But this teaser is the first image without camouflage.

Like the face-lifted X1 the face lifted 5 series also hosts some minor changes. The front gets a re-sculpted hood and bumpers. The fog lamps have grown in size and are detailed with a chrome around to make the car more premium. The hood of the car is  contoured to give a fluidized feel.

The sides of the car remain untouched by BMW. Although we can expect a pair of new alloy wheels for the new X1. Coming to the rear the bumper is tweaked a bit with some reshaping. The notable change to the rear is the rectangular exhaust pipes instead for the circular ones in the current 5 series.

Anyway the teased 5 series is a Chinese spec model. Wes hope  the Indian version 5 series to get some more tweaks to the exterior and a totally restyled interior too. We can expect some new spicy features too.

The engine and other mechanicals will be the same. BMW may make some minor tuning to increase the fuel efficiency. We can expect the car to be officially unveiled in the Geneva motor show or in Shanghai motor show in China.

Expecting the car in India by the end of April.
