Jaguar and Land rover the British
luxury car maker was always under the shadows of its German rivals.
It was mainly due to steep pricing and feeble dealer network. Jaguar
was exporting their cars to India earlier which attracted heavy
duties and steep pricing.
But now JLR is assembling two of their
famous models in the Pune plant in co-operation with Tata motors. The
Land Rover Free-lander was assembled in Pune plant from November 2012
which increased the SUV s sales and reputation.
Recently on February JLR launched the
XF 2.2 l diesel in India and it is assembled in Pune plant. Local
assembling helped JLR to cut the cost down to 45 lakhs. So JLR is
very keen and serious about their development in Indian market.
Now JLR is planning to fill up Indian
market with more models. Jaguar is currently selling Land Rover
Free-lander, Jaguar XF, Range Rover and Evoque in Indian market. So
pretty few models. An expending the line up is a necessity.

According to me Land Rover designs premium army tank rather than premium SUV's.Its every car have that war type instinct which makes its vehicles so powerful and rowdy that they can run on every surface and terrain.
Land rover has a special iconic design which keeps up its prestige., and that's why everyone loves it so much
