2014 Jeep Cherokee images revealed before geneva motor show

Jeep has revealed some official images of the 2014 Cherokee before its debut in New York Motor show. The 2014 Jeep Cherokee was said to be showcased at the New York motor show scheduled on 29 th March. The 2014 Cherokee will replace the outgoing Jeep Liberty.

The above images signifies that the new 2014 Cherokee is more bolder bigger and stern as well. The car looks more handsome and robust from the front. The bonnet is nicely sculpted with some sharp lines flowing. Front is dominated by the eight slat grille which creates an unique and distinguishable look to the car. Two pairs of headlamps the round bulgy fog lamps and the chrome skinned air damp all looks just fine. The SUV has some plastic claddings at the bottoms and some curvy shoulder lines for extra hideousness.

The new Cherokee is far more trendier and handsome than the old one but still lacks the sporty touch that an SUV should have. The design does not have a flow or eye catching ability.

Jeep has not yet revealed the engine specifications. As we reported earlier the SUV will get a 3.0 l diesel which is the cut down version of the 3.2 l V6 for Europe. Other power-trains are likely to be the 3.2 l V6 and the 2.4 l tiger shark petrol engines. A 2.0 l diesel will be available too.

Jeep boasts that the new Cherokee has got more off-roding capabilities and gadgets, improved dynamics and good on-roding too. Jeep claims the new Cherokee to be 25% more efficient than the outgoing Jeep Liberty.

Jeep has currently decided to launch Wrangler and Grand Cherokee in India. Their is high potential and chances for Jeep introducing the 2014 Cherokee to India. We are not sure about it. SUV trend is rising up heavily in Indian market and Indian costumers are hungry for more SUVs with some exceptional features. We can expect new Cherokee in India by 2014
